Doon Public School hosted a Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management on 6 November 2026, organised by the Centre of Excellence (COE), Patna, of the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The sessions looked at stress as a situation, a feeling and a response, and at what sets it off, from time pressure and fear to loss of energy and frustration. Teachers worked through case studies of students under exam pressure and talked about how to spot the signs early and respond with care.

Much of the day was hands-on. Teachers sat in groups at round tables, wrote and drew their responses, and shared them with the hall.

At the close of the programme, the resource person was felicitated with a memento on behalf of the school, and the participants gathered for a group photograph.

“A calm teacher makes a calm classroom.”
Thank you to the CBSE Centre of Excellence, Patna, and to the resource persons for a thoughtful day of learning.
