Inter-House Rangoli Competition

Every house turned the corridors and courtyard into a gallery of coloured powder and diyas, with rangolis on saving the Earth, peace, women's empowerment, financial literacy and more.

The houses of Doon Public School came together on 5 November 2026 for the Inter-House Rangoli Competition. Teams of students spread out across the corridors and the courtyard, each with a patch of floor, bowls of coloured powder and an idea to bring to life.

These were rangolis with a message. One team showed the Earth half scorched and half green under the words Save Earth. Others called on everyone to say no to war and yes to peace, celebrated empowered women as the strength of tomorrow, and urged visitors to plan, save and grow.

The judges went from rangoli to rangoli as each team explained its idea. Every design was finished with marigold petals and lit diyas at its corners.
