The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit at Barauni Thermal Power Station (BTPS) held a special fire safety training camp at Doon Public School on 28 October 2026. The message of the day was simple: awareness, preparedness and protection.
The CISF team began with a live demonstration on stage, showing how a fire starts, which extinguisher suits which kind of fire, and how to use one safely. Students stepped up to try it themselves, under the officers' guidance.

CISF experts then spoke to the students about preventing fires, staying calm and acting quickly in an emergency, and calling for help: 101 for the fire service and 112 for any emergency.

The session moved on to first aid. The officers demonstrated CPR and emergency response on student volunteers, explaining each step of the C-A-B method: compressions, airway and breathing.

“Awareness that builds safety.”
The programme closed with the school presenting a memento to the CISF team, in gratitude for their time and their valuable contribution to our students' safety.
