Surakshit Bachpan Abhiyan: together for a safer childhood

A campaign on child safety and children's rights, with a talk by our guests and students sharing the message through song and speech.

Doon Public School hosted the Surakshit Bachpan Abhiyan, the Safe Childhood Campaign, on 27 October 2026, with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). The programme was about one idea: every child has the right to feel safe, and to know how to speak up when they do not.

We began by welcoming our guests with flowers and a memento, as a mark of our gratitude and respect.

A warm welcome, a meaningful beginning.

Our guests then spoke to the students about safety and child rights: what those rights are, how to recognise when something is wrong, and where to turn for help.

Students carried the message forward themselves, sharing awareness through songs and short messages of their own.

“Know your rights. Speak up for safety.”

The programme closed with the whole school standing together for a safer childhood. Every student, every voice matters.
