The Principal hoisted the National Flag, and students filled the day with patriotic songs, poetry and dance.
Students performing a patriotic dance on the Independence Day stage

On 15 August 2026, the Doon Public School, Begusarai community came together to celebrate India's 80th Independence Day with pride, gratitude and patriotic spirit.

The National Flag was hoisted by our Principal, Mr. G. K. Singh, who also addressed the school community on the occasion.

Our students brought the celebration to life through patriotic songs, music, poetry and vibrant cultural performances. From a little hand proudly waving the Tricolour to voices singing in honour of the nation, every moment reflected the joy of freedom and the strength of unity.

We remain inspired by the values that define our nation: courage, responsibility, diversity and service. Jai Hind!
